Same Day CEREC Crowns

Dental patient flossing her teeth after having the CEREC same day crown systemIf you’ve ever had a crown done, you know that the process is typically very lengthy. In fact, it requires a couple of different visits at least a week or two apart, plus the need to wear a bulky temporary crown while you wait. Not anymore!

Over 10 Years Perfecting Treatment

Dr. Tiner has been using the CEREC same day crown system for over a decade, providing the highest level of care for the patients in our Richardson office.

When you choose an office for same-day dentistry, it’s important to select a dentist whose skill level allows him or her to create CEREC restorations that are greater or equal in quality to traditional types of restorations. Unfortunately, this can be difficult to do. But at Dentistry by Design, Dr. Tiner has perfected the process for his patients.

Your Experience

Instead of prepping your tooth, taking an impression, and wearing a temporary crown for two weeks while your permanent one is made – Dr. Tiner completes the entire process in a single visit.

First, we prepare your tooth for the fixed restoration. Then, we take a “virtual” impression of the area, and use this digital information to have a permanent ceramic crown made right here in our office with the latest milling technology. Sit back and relax, we’ll do the rest! As soon as your crown has been perfected under Dr. Tiner’s eye for detail, it is bonded permanently into place.

Graphic of a crownYou may need a full coverage restoration if your tooth is cracked, badly decayed, or has had a root canal. We also frequently place crowns on top of individual implants, for single tooth replacement.

Even if you’ve had a bad experience at a same-day dentistry office in the past, you can expect differently at Dentistry by Design. Call us today!
