Dental Bridges

A Quick Answer for Missing Teeth

Great smile after having a dental bridgeBridges are fixed restorations that we use to replace one or two missing teeth. Each end of the bridge is bonded like a crown, over a healthy tooth. If you don’t have teeth in those areas, we can even place the bridge on top of two dental implants – which means we can easily fill in the space of up to 3 or 4 teeth at a time.

Creating Lifelike Restorations

Your new restoration should last for years – that’s why Dr. Tiner is very precise in the preparation and design of your new bridge. We want to restore not only your oral function and health, but your confidence as well.

Each tooth on your bridge is carefully crafted to become a seamlessly natural part of your smile. Our goal is to deliver a restoration that looks and feels as close to the real thing as possible.

Caring for Your Bridge

Great oral hygiene can extend the life of your bridge, crown, or fillings. With a bridge, a few extra steps are needed to keep the area as clean as possible. In addition to brushing it thoroughly, it is important to use a floss threader or water flosser to clean under the prosthesis at least once a day. These tools also allow you to clean around the abutment (supporting) teeth or implants, keeping them free of disease.

Scheduling preventive cleanings every 6 months will help establish the health and integrity of your prosthesis, avoiding complications later on. Our hygienists will also work with you to find various ways to clean your prosthesis if you find some more challenging than others.
